    Beaver-Visitec International is currently seeking a Sales Representative for Houston/San Antonio, S. Texas, and W.     Responsibilities

     

    The Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales and promotion of ophthalmic disposable knives, instruments, kits, and other supplies to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and growing annual sales volume in assigned territory.

    Demonstrates Effective Sales Abilities:   Strategically approaches assignments with thorough understanding of customer needs, product attributes, revenue generation, and profit and loss analysis.   Skilled at making presentations to audiences at all levels. Demonstrated team selling skills. Responsible for utilizing strong selling skills in achieving and over-achieving anticipated customer expectations and BVI's sales goals.

    Demonstrates Relationship-building Skills:   Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills., Builds effective business relationships with surgeons, staffs, and Key Opinion Leaders. Excellent communication skills.  

    Qualifications

    We require a BS or BA degree in Business and/or related discipline, 2 or more years selling medical devices in the operating room market to hospitals, surgery centers, and doctor's offices. Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated track record of success and an aptitude to learn and apply new clinical knowledge. Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to foster and develop strong relationships is a must. All candidates for this position must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and must be able to read and write in English.

     

    Travel up to 50%.  Ability to drive a car; use lap top while sitting; use telephone and other hand-held devices; stand or walk for at least 4 hours at a time; presentations; written/oral communication in English; lift up to 70 lbs.  Travel by plane, observe surgery in the Operating Room or Surgery Center.

    B.S./B.A. Degree in Business and/or related medical field/college degree

    We also prefer candidate has experience selling ophthalmic medical devices and experience using a contact database or CRM tool. Additionally experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
